Can someone check this out for me as I don't have a USB dongle yet.
Compare the files from a 60GB and a slim to see if the PS2 BC files are the same or different. If they are different then does that mean we can just copy them from the 60GB to a slim and have PS2 BC?

oooo, great news, you can now transfer protected save games!!!
and another thing, you have now got read-write access to the ps1,ps2,psp emulator FOLDERS (i think files too) on a JAILBROKEN ps3.
Now, some noobish speculation from me, cuz i love imagining xBox Emulation and Wii Emulation.

Guys the later ps3 lack hardware for emulation, it's not going to happen any time soon hence the pcsx2 port.

Guys can someone finally try this out (I mentioned it on page 4):
When you download a PKG from PSN, its being copied to some folder on HDD, then Installed.
1. Connect to PSN using some proxy, download some small game demo.
2. Run FTP service
3. Check out folders, find the downloaded demo PKG
4. Download some retail PKG using links from ps4news.com
5. Copy over that pkg to the same folder on ps3 as the demo
An now 2 options:
a) Try installing while psjb is enabled
b) Reboot ps3 without psjb, try installing again

Do debug/dev PKG's work when using the PSJ/PSG dongles?

East or West, CJPC is the best.

To install retail ones you have to use jb to swap your dl pkg with the one you wish, Turn off, turn on ps3 without jb and proceed with the installation of the swapped pkg.
By the way you can use psn debug links from ps4news.com

So do you think this can end up in beeing able to download game updates and DLC from a non-PSN source and put them on your PS3 just like you do with a JTAG'ed 360 ?
