Hmmm, is it possible to compile OpenGL ES code with it?

Does it have OGLES librararies included - or even prototypes? Well headers are least of the problems...

yes you can (not sure with the BU manager tho) but if your ps3 is BC, then you can... i play all my PS2 hombrew stuff all the time... loading Ulaunch works, & running games works... some of the Ps2 media server apps cause the ps3 to reboot, or freeze tho...

What i would like to know & hopefully somone can assist, (as i have been asking about it for over 2 years now)

There are Ps2 games (a final Fantasy game, & a resdient evil game i belive) that utilize the HD option of the ps2. APPARENTLY when you enter those games into the PS3 & play, the game gives you a option to format a section of the internal HD to store stuff (so this means that a PS2 filesystem is created on the PS3 drive)

So tecnically, that partition should be assessablie via Ulaunch (maybe the PS3FTP also), i dont have either game, nor can i find them , so i cant test it out. But if my theroy is correct, then technically we could store all ps2 rips on the ps3 drive, & load Via swapmagic... & who knows what else
Wow, you know quite a surprising lot about that. I thought I was the only one after all that. I don't expect all that matters for now. Will probably have PS2 Backup from XMB Launcher that will in turn replace 99% of all need for PS2 homebrew because everything (important) will there after be ported.

try convincing my roommate of this. i have XBMC setup with my 5.1 surround sound and media center.

all they have is a ps3 so i setup ps3 media server for them. the amount of times the bitch and complain about things not working lol, almost all HD stuff (720p .mkv files) wont play, and if they do you can't fast forward with out locking it up.

to top it off i dont even bother ever extracting stuff from the .rars they come in when i download cause xbmc just recognises them straight away.

half the time they just come downstairs and watch movies on my XBMC setup.

its so much better having trailers, fanart, cast, blurbs etc for movies let alone descriptions for tv shows etc coupled with the fact you just set up an RSS feed to autodownload your shows and stuff and xbmc just updates automatically.

its a beautiful program and if i can get it for PS3 it will be incredible.
