According to the info from the scene release of MLB 11 the workaround method is the same as Dragon Age with .pkg files included. On a side note there is a working copy of Bulletstorm from Europe finally.

Tested on 3.55 kmeaw CFW, since game requires 3.56 you will need to do the following:

    1. Install pkg file included in pkg folder
    2. Open up Backup Manager (tested on Multiman " --- " 1.15.03).
    3. Change Param Sfo file from 3.56 to 3.55
    4. Load it up with a game disc in drive
    5. Play the game

Oh well! We can still have workarounds. We win!

I hate Baseball, and i hate RPGS... so SCREW the games an hack the update itself... take 3.56 and smash it apart just for the heck of it, it's always much harder to pick up the pieces.

that's why I like 3.41... no need to mess with pkg files installs, just simple eboot mods in game folders.

Second that so much easier. Just make sure you keep the original EBOOT incase you need it in the future.

Isn't forcing customers to update their firmware to play games offline illegal? Didn't Sony previously use the 'you don't have to update because you can give up all your online activities instead' defense in court, when they removed the other os feature?

I cant seem to get Dragon Age 2 to work using this method. I have 3.55 cfw. Using Multiman 01.16.06 I installed the pkg files, and modded the SFO file to 3.5000. Instead of getting the same error as before, the screen goes black (as if its about to start) then dumps me back to XMB after 5-7 seconds. Any ideas?
