Without existing dumps, the only way to downgrade and upgrade at your choice is to use a PS3 TEST/DEBUG unit- they run anywhere from $300-$2000, depending on what kind of deal you get.

There are currently a few units for sale in the BST area, however be aware that these can not access the PSN store, nor can they play any movies.

Noo... I have infectus dumps... what i must to do next?

Like was said earlier, they must be dumps from your console - thats the only way to downgrade, and your console needs to be under around FW 2.10/2.20

it has been confirmed that if you are on 2.10 you can't go back to a previous fw with infectus....

So your best bet for playing around is if you are below this firmware..

If not just have fun playing with the firmware you are currently on..

Just keep a clean backup of it and restore your clean backup before you ever run another update or you could have yourself some problems that cannot be corrected!
