Now were just waiting on the program where you drop a pup into it and it extracts it, applies all of the patches to it, compresses it and signs it. Now that I think about that, it shouldn't be too hard to write once more information comes out. No one would need to make a "custom firmware." Everyone would be able to, that's the beauty of what is about to become of this.

I don't like the idea of tons of CFWs! 3 CFWs would be enough..

What utter nonsense, what patches are going to be applied? shouldn't be too hard to write? what exactly are you basing this on.

Everyone would be able to? Half the people jbing their ps3's have difficulty reading the compatibility list!

Could you try the attached modified version, sir. Things changed:

    - Doesn't crash when run without arguments
    - 2nd argument (output file) is optional, _decrypted will be added to the filename if omitted
    - Writes the raw decrypted buffer when inflation fails

I just get errors when I try to compile...

This is probably because I'm trying to compile in MinGW for Windows. It shouldn't make a difference, I have everything set up correctly...

It isn't because of your new file, I get the same exact errors if I try to compile the original dePKG.

If anyone cannot compile the program (under Cygwin) just add the link the correct library

It's just the keys extracted from the source of the program.

Please explain because pkg_size is the size of the decrypted pkg, not the encrypted one. Can't see the error here, since 0x1000 = 4096:
