What I'm doing wrong, I wonder
    A few things.

#1 you need to un-PUP the file first (use something like PUP Extractor from the Download section here)

    #2 You need to specify a target (like in : ./depkg CORE_OS_PACKAGE315R.pkg CORE_OS_PACKAGE315R_decrypt.pkg

i.e the update.pup file needs to be extracted first!
Yeah, my bad, I didn't read previous posts

    Wink

    Code:
    jason [AT] jmk:~/Desktop/temp$ ./depkg.x86 CORE_OS_PACKAGE315R.pkg CORE_OS_PACKAGE315R_decrypt.pkg
    read 0x4F402E bytes of pkg
pkg data [AT] 300 with size 4f3d2e
    inflated: 0
    writing 6FFFE0
    I tried both 3.41Debug and 3.15 Retail.
Same problem with this both... the data past 0x40660 isn't PPC code.

(Thanks MOD for the hint about the AT sign...)

It keeps telling me it cannot execute the binary file...

Like other GEOHOT works , probably is working but need some adjustment, we can wait that people like XORLOSER, DEMONHADES, JAICRAB, CJPC, NDT, GRAF_CHOKOLO and MANY other talented people (that now i forget) like them will help to improve this tool.

Contains Bluetooth firmware. Uploading CORE_OS_PACKAGE was going to take 5 minutes so I just put the Bluetooth firmware instead.

    3.55 NTSC.

cheers man, it works with that. need to sort out why hardcoded filenames work and args parsed in dont, but i'll just get me a coffee and should be able to upload in half hour or so. would anyone find the visual studio 2--5 project / source etc useful?

    Good

Now I can get working on seeing how this machine actually functions. I've always wanted to take a look at the Firmware, now is my chance.
