More PlayStation 3 News...
sorry for not saying anything special, but i bet that we need another ftp program for the ps3...
there is just too many already... we don't need another one...
how can we put it on a ps3?
dragonsan, thinking the same here, this is nothing new and the ftp in Multiman works just fine it is pointless imo.
motec, use Multiman's ftp to transfer it to the int hdd and then use the ps3's install feature.
Now if someone could develop a app like the old Midnight commander, or some would know it as norton commander, that would be wicked... no more FTP's tho.
there's only one properly functional one, which is openPS3FTP and now there's this one, which is apparently better.
blackb0x doesn't count. that's old news since openPS3FTP 1.3.
Blackbox is one of the best regardless of age. And their codes been released, unlike this one. And this ones apparently better than openPS3FTP you say, so would you mind explaining why?
Isn't he violationg OpenPS3FTP's GPL license by not releasing the source code?
I don't think its anything to do with the developers of OpenPS3FTP's, but forgive me if I'm wrong Tidusnake666, and also I'm unaware about any license needed, as it is open source I thought. But for this Dev to gain any faith from us in his work he needs to release the code because no one should try this until he has.
I still don't get why anyone needs it? I mean there are quite a few FTP apps out there already but fair played for releasing it anyway.
But given it's essentially an alpha I don't really think he needs to post the source, that's just being picky.
