    Question Differences in eboots

What is the difference in coding with a retail and debug eboot?

This is just a theory but what if you were able to take disect a retail with a hex editor and then take and rebuild a debug eboot would that be possible?

    thanks

Well mainly- the retail one is encrypted, while the debug one is not.

The easiest way I've found is to look at it - if there is quite a bit of plain text, then its probably a debug eboot, if not - its most likely encrypted.

is there a way to remove the encryption, or do it a hex editor?
