I hate being such a newb but.. I need help understanding exactly how you would install these games and what files would be necessary. Please help me, i'm really trying to learn but I can't if everytime someone sees my comment they ignore it.

So now we should be able to patch every game now? This is good news.

I think a FAQ would be helpful for people asking questions.

but your name tells me you made the CFW...

just wait, the files are being made as we speak, so you won't have to do anything.

should i upload my mag eboot so it can be patched?

Also to note this will work to fix all the black screen games also. I don't see why this would not work with any game really. Guess I'm going to need a bigger 2.5" hard drive.

Only games that have definitive paths need patching in step 3.

Correct me if I am wrong .. which I most likely am but what i understand of this is that people are going to post .pkg that just set up the game directory with the eboot.bin inside of it and what you have to do is download and copy the rest of the files from the USRDIN directory and put them inside that directory within the ps3 and then run the game from the xmb.

anyone care to make a video for proof, not that I doubt it but it would be nice to have in the Main Page.

i'm kind of a noob on all this stuff. my question is where are the files in USRDIR that you are transferring to the hard drive? i have the pkg already installed, but i don't get where the files are coming from for the USRDIR. do i need to have the game for this to work?
