That doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. I'm already in love with 1.15.

WHY? This was a great feature.

I just changed from Waninkoko CFWv2 to Kmeaw and I liked the fact I didn't need lv2 to run backups.
Well as it seems the BDEMU is out and if you install the pkg you'll get the same functionality as previous versions.

Is it possible to fix file permissions via the file manager? After upgrading, I've found even the Game Data (ie. /game/BLUSXXXXX) has the wrong permissions on some files which causes problems. Pressing R1 on the game only fixes permissions on the backup folder (ie. /GAMES/BLUSXXXXX).

To all people rushing to downgrade or keep there current version of multiman which includes payload, please do not worry.Upgrading to the latest version will not lose the ability to play your backups.

Just download and install the BDEMU installer... And that's it... Multiman will launch your backups like it did before. Also by what dean says in his release log, there will be no more payloads in any release he makes now... And you know what dean is like with his updates.... They are very frequent.

So get the BDEMU from links that have already been announced in this thread and be happy in the knowledge that all deans future releases will work with the BDEMU pack.

And thx dean... For making the ps3 community very happy... And me and my wife... We are hardcore ps3 full timers. lol :-)

I watched 1.15.05 get uninstalled / deleted off a PS3 and 1.16 get installed. Without running the BDEMU.PKG file the backups still loaded.

How is this possible if BDMENU.bin is not included in the 1.16 pack? Also, where is BDEMU.BIN located on the PS3?

He he he - they restarted their PS3 and then got the message about not being able to play BD Emulation. They then installed the BDEMU.PKG file and all good again for them.

See post 3069 on page 307. There is an attachment to download. Install the PKG file from that. KM = KMEAW and WT = Other CFW... Maybe Waninko...

Dean... Quick question my friend. Trying to upload a cover i made to /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/covers

the game itself.. when i open multiman, seems to copy another games cover instead.Even thoe the cover name is correct.Tried this on 3 different games. I notice when i check permissions on the cover i uploaded, its set to chmod 600

But all the other game covers, which installed with your mega pack, have a chmod of 666...this seems to be the issue.

However i can not chmod the new cover..tried with 2 different ftp programs..i get this when trying to change permissions.

[Register or Login to view code]

i notice it is not a problem that is only with multiman ftp server.. but others also.

    Any advice?

theone1982 not sure how covers are selected. maybe via nfo from sfo. so there might be something wrong with the game id.
