First post updated with links for all firmwares.
To all users: Please read the changelog carefully before you update.
multiman 1.15.5 is the best backup loader around right now, best guess is that most cfw users have this on their ps3's
1.16.0 looks very noob unfriendly though so that may change unless there is a nice write up explaining a few things, i'm sure there will be though considering the way its been up to now.
So how come the change with no payload ? Are you covering your back ? Don't blame you!
Changing ATTRIBUTE value in PARAM.SFO for remote play is fixed, switching display modes with L1 or SELECT+L1 is now better (no overlapping images, but black screen), display mode #1 and #3 now use the same memory buffer (not to waste another 8MB of RAM), [SELECT]+[X] to launch black screen games from external USB HDD now works without any syscalls and payloads
The only thing you need is external payload loaded (patcher) or BDEMU.BIN which you can probably find around.
multiMAN is the best, no one can do what Dean does, good work!
deanrr, You could make such option. That most to choose modes of display of games? Ticks to put
Nice release but i downgraded it to 1.15.05.. Tnx best BP!
I have 2 questions
1st what I'm losing without that payload (BDEMU.BIN)?? - Please explain it
2nd When i try to launch the MM browser i take the error massage:
Browser disabled in current version! not enough memory...
is this ok? Why?
Following closely behind the previous update, MultiMAN OBM PS3 Mod version 01.16.00 is now available from the first post and deanrr notes that users should READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU PROCEED WITH UPDATE (for FW 3.55)!
MultiMAN v01.16.00 Changes:
- No payload of any kind included in the distribution
- Support for "Black screen games" using external USB HDD
- * BDEMU.BIN or external payload required to enable following functionality:
- Support for AVCHD/BDMV structures saved on internal HDD (AVCHD HDD)
- Path redirections for /dev_bdvd and /app_home
- BDEMU.BIN is not distributed with install packages
Finally, this BDEMU pack was posted by mynob on IRC, it may be of use to people... when running the BDEMU .PKG file (required the first time only) it will place the required BDEMU.BIN in the correct folder.
MultiMAN EBOOT_FIX PS3 Application also allows users to decrypt, change, encrypt, shadow copy via ebootFIX.exe included.
