    which extension does multiman recognize as the need to rejoin files? is it filename.#.part or filename.666##?

    i tried to copy gran turismo 5 to the internal hdd with file.#.part format but it just literally copied the same files there. it didnt rejoin into one big file. i'm using 1.12 if that helps.

    to be clear on my previous post, i split the file gt.vol which is 11gb into smaller parts like this:
    gt.vol
    gt.vol.1.part
    gt.vol.2.part

    when the game was done copying, i checked to see if it did copy correctly in the file manager. it turned out gt.vol did not rejoin to one big file. please help me.

    You have to use .666## format. If you want to save some time, rename the files on your pc:

    *.1.part -> *.66600
    *.2.part -> *.66601
    *.3.part -> *.66602
    *.4.part -> *.66604

    Go to FILE MANAGER mode, browse to the folder of the failed dump and press [SQUARE].

    Hi guys, i'm new here and i have any questions.

    1- Have a problem if i leave the R1 "USB controller patch mode" always on for all games?

    2- How i can know when "USB controller patch" is turned on in multiMAN 01.12.00?

    3- What means "NAV"? (FW 3.41) MEGA package: multiMAN 01.12.00 (28MB- PKG & INI & NAV & 878 COVERS & ORIGINAL THEME & SOUND)

    Thanks all.

    I too have had problems with this, using split4G, couldn't get them to rejoin in multiMAN had to resort to Comgenie apps.

    What problem? If you use filename.666## option in split4g and then copy the FOLDER with these split file, multiMAN will join them. I personally tested it couple of days ago (again).

    tried it 3 or 4 days ago and multiMAN wouldn't rejoin the file just straight copied them from USB to HDD both in fileMAN and gameMAN.

    dean is right. thanks to him, i was able to play gt5 flawlessly. i just copied gt5 to hdd and the split files auto joined using .666## format. read a few posts up to see how it's done.

    yes I know this as I do this with Comgenie, as I also mentioned a few posts up, I'm saying I just couldn't get it to work with split4G and multiMAN.
