Which REX do you use, there are few of them 4.21.1, 4.21.2, 4.21.3, what is the difference between them, or is one better than other?
Im quite new at this, my ps3 is on 3.55 cfw, where can I find step by step tutorial or something like that, how to upgrade from 3.55 cfw to 4.21 REX?

You sad that this is really easy, and you can downgrade it every time when you want it, back to 3.55 CFW, without problems of brickin or something like that?

What exactly changes are needed for homebrew, sorry for all that questions, or maybe even some stupid ones, but there are so much CFW, that you dont know which is better or worse, like your 4.30CFW, thanks for help and your reply

For me Rebug 4.21.2 REX is what I have installed and its great. minimal problems. Some homebrew had to be resigned to 4.21 but that was it. Easily done too, FTP the eboot to the PC, resign it then FTP it back and its all done.

Its not every time, its just that first time you update from 3.55 as you already have 3.55 homebrew that either works in 4.21 or needs to be resigned. MultiMan is already signed so thats fine, a lot of the new homebrew is also signed for 3.55/4.21 so you wont have any problems its mainly the older homebrew that aren't being updated anymore.

There are guides here in the forums with just about every answer you can ask. Go have a look at the tutorials and guides and they will show you how to update and whatever else you want to know.

Might be a side track, but anyone care to explain what's the main contenders on the next gen CFW (rebug, REX, which versions), and what's their pros and cons?
