InFamous Second Son on PS4 Today, Bonus Content Now Available

Today Brian Fleming at Sucker Punch Productions announced that InFamous Second Son is now available on PS4 alongside bonus content as outlined below.

To quote: All of us at Sucker Punch are super excited about the launch of Second Son today! We spent almost three years bringing Delsin and his powers to life, now it's time for you all to ENJOY those powers!

Have a great time, and let us know what you think about it all @SuckerPunchProd.

Don't forget to download the patch! It comes with a nice little surprise called inFAMOUS Paper Trail. What's that? It's a FREE bonus extension for inFAMOUS Second Son that expands the universe and gameplay by weaving seamlessly on and beyond your PS4.

You will pursue missions to unravel the mysteries behind the D.U.P. and the cover-up of a violent suicide through this time-released story. New content will be released every week for the first six weeks after launch of the game, offering almost five hours of additional content available to everyone who has a copy of inFAMOUS Second Son and a PSN account.

To learn more about inFAMOUS Paper Trail go to inFAMOUSPaperTrail.com/about or check out the FAQ.

Combine that with the extra content available in the Cole's Legacy pre-order DLC and we think you'll have plenty to enjoy with your new copy of inFAMOUS Second Son!

WHY dont they put that extra stuff on the disc already? Why do you have to download a patch on day one? Dont they do testing or want you to buy the full game on disc where you are now forced to buy it in pieces, half on disc half download.

Why cant we go back to the way it should be. You pay for the full game which was already tested and final on the disc. No day1 dlc, no patches, just the game finished ready to play. No huge hour long installs, no 15gb patches just put the game and play.

Anyone else hate the way the gaming industry is taking us?

It doesn't have to be this way. WE are the gamers, WE purchase them so WE should control how it is. The way to change it is to NOT buy online, buy from the shop and NOT to buy the day1 DLC. When they see a loss and a lack of sales they will stop it and start putting it back on the disc where it should already be.

What happens if you have 2 consoles with 2 different accounts. You buy the game but only 1 account is allowed to use that DLC. So you are forced to buy it again. THATS NOT RIGHT! When you buy a game you should be able to do what you want with it and it should be the full game on the disc. If it comes with a DLC code then it should be able to use it more than once as thats half the game. Sometimes that DLC is needed so you are forced to pay for it again which is NOT RIGHT.

And look at the new Metal Gear Solid 5 demo. ITS A DEMO! but they want you to pay like its a full game. Its a 1 level demo but priced higher than full games. NOBODY should buy that to prove the fact we wont buy demos but to all those who do buy it are making it worse for us.

The next dev will do it too. release paid demos as there are people out there that will happily waste their money on a demo which should be free but pay making all of us pay for demos and dlc and all that extra crap that should be on the disc already and free.
