Ubisoft, like Microsoft with Halo Wars, is attempting to innovate by designing their strategy games from the ground up on console, rather than porting.

To that end, Ubisoft is already preparing to deliver a beta version of Tom Clancy's EndWar to gamers later this year, reports Eurogamer. "We really believe that as soon as anyone can get their hands on the controls and experience it, it'll be something new and it's a level of immersion and realism and accessibility that's never really been in a strategy game," said EndWar Creative Director Michael de Plater.
