During a conference call addressing the delay of Grand Theft Auto IV into spring 2008, Take-Two Chairman Strauss Zelnick confirmed the decision to delay the title was a mutual decision between Rockstar Games and Take-Two -- but Zelnick had the final call.
"We completely support our colleagues at Rockstar," he said. "Given our commitment to set new standard for video games... we do believe it was the right decision."
Zelnick says the company viewed the most recent build yesterday, but made the decision to delay Grand Theft Auto IV today.
