[IMGW]http://media.1up.com/media?id=3329655[/IMGW]Oddly, it may be the inclusion of a 15-year-old film that determines which premium version of Stranglehold is more appealing to multiplatform gamers. Last month, it was announced the PlayStation 3 Collector's Edition of the game would come with a Blu-ray copy of John Woo's Hard Boiled, the 1992 action classic that serves as a prequel to Stranglehold.

Eager to level the playing field a bit, Midway revealed the contents of the Xbox 360 Collector's Edition, but this version still lacks Hard Boiled in HD. Instead, it will include a bonus disc with four behind-the-scenes featurettes and a series of extended cinematic scenes not found in the final game. The videos will take a look at the inner workings of the game, including the visual and audio design, and will include an MTV visit to the development studio in Chicago.

Regardless of your preferred platform, each Collector's Edition of Stranglehold will arrive with a suggested price tag of $69.95 in early August.
