What happens when I'm banned from PSN for use of CFW?? Can I still play offline?

Well, its official. Several have reported both consoles and the PSN IDs linked to them banned from PSN. Trying to log in or create a new account under that console gives you an error message and trying to use that account under another console doesn't work as well.

Seems like the first ones to start getting banned are those currently using the fake certificate work around that was posted earlier.

Has anyone here had any problems logging into PSN yet? I wonder how widespread these reports are.

Was bound to happen soon as licenses were messed with bypasses etc , at least with xbox ban hammer it was only the console but now seams like lifetime ban for indiiduals , also isn't it weird that this states stop using the devices suggesting there given you a chance to clean up your system but crack on and start psn bans.

Most likely yes, when they brick your PS3, I think you can sue them.
