    PSN Account Mail Checker & Info Reader (Linux) is Now Available

    Back in June, iQD and me worked on a PC client messenger to write with people who are online via their PS3 in the PlayStation Network.

    Well, the sad truth is: The PSN uses a token system which we could not reverse fully yet. The most is done server- and firmware-side so nearly impossible except we could decrypt and analyse several firmware .sprx files.

    Anyway, now we release 2 parts of the full cake which will be used in the full program, if it ever will be finished. If not, you still can use those both as standalone applications.

    The first: PSN Account Mail Checker

    The mail checker is used to find out yout real username used by the PSN to get more information about your account and login several services. Here you just select your region and enter your PSN ID. After, a XML file will be created which contains your "real" PSN server side username.

    The syntax is like this: [email protected]

    The second: PSN Account Info Reader

    After you executed the first application and received your mail-like username, you can start the second program. Select your region again and input your "username". Another XML file will be created, containing your actual PSN-comment, your main languages, your PSN avatar etc.

    To prevent legal problems, we don't provide any keys for functioning properly (don't even ask for it). Anyway we implemented a function which allows you to try any key-file which should be named key.txt. Place the key.txt in the same folder as the both executables --> done. If it's the correct one, the appz will work :)

    In related news, PlayStation 3 developer Overx is working on some homebrew tools (script in PHP and software C#) to activate and deactivate PSN accounts.

    To quote: Hello Guys,

    I'm developing an open source software for activate and deactivate Account PSN, I'm having some problems and did not find solution in wikdev. My doubts regarding the passed parameters

    Here against all parameters:

      $data = array(
                "reason"         => "",
                "max_console"     => "",
                "loginid"         => $input['s_mail'], /* email */
                "password"         => $input['s_senha'], /* password */
                "epassword"        => "",
                "consoleid"             => $input['s_idps'], /* idps */
                "productid"        => "",
                "platform"         => $input['s_console'], /* for vita, don't modify, possible parameters psp,ps3,psp2.ps4 is unknown */
                "acttype"         => $input['s_tipo'], /* for vita, don't modify */
                "c1"            => ""
            $custom_headers = array(
                    "X-I-5-DRM-Version: 1.0",
                    "Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded"
            $ch = curl_init();
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, "".$input['s_server'].".m");
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_USERAGENT, "Legium pro Britania");
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, $custom_headers);
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POST, 1);
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, http_build_query($data));
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, 0);
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST, 0);
            //curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_VERBOSE, true);
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HEADER, 1);
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_CERTINFO, 1);
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1);
            curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_VERBOSE, 1);
            $request =  curl_getinfo($ch);
            $response = curl_exec($ch);
            echo $response;
    Above is the script I am using, only passing loginid, password, consoleid, platform, acttype. It is working well, but I can not deactivate console PS3, It seems that the IDPS sent is not the same. You need to encrypt the IDPS? or something like that?

    Sadly, this has now been stolen (without credit) by $n!pR at quax... and people still wonder why so little gets posted publically.

    Hey Boss,

    What do you exactly by stolen? that someone has made something with the application and not given credit?

    He took the key that CJPC shared here and posted it without crediting or even CJPC for supplying it, the same way that Pirate stole (copied) CJPC's PS3 TOOL news post without any credit either a few weeks back.

    Most end-users aren't ever aware of this, but the Staff and PS3 Devs here have been for quite some time...

    how about next time if CJPC has a key or something maybe have a policy to PM him for it instead so atleast someone has a clue as to whom is requesting the key and/or an idea of people who would have spread it without consent or giving credit.

    Well, as I mentioned above it goes beyond just the key... anything we post here that they want to steal they just take without permission and post it without any return credits, links, mention of source, etc.

    It's been an ongoing issue for the last 3 years almost... (remember when they stole and posted NDT/KnightSolidus' HDD work even after being personally asked to remove it by the author?) so nothing will change sadly.

    On the bright side, I think only the newbies are fooled by it... those who have been around awhile already know this has been happening forever.
