What's the game about:Pain is a downloadable game for PlayStation Network where the objective is to inflict pain on your character as you catapult him or her across various landscapes. Inspired by TV shows like Jackass and Viva La Bam and viral videos on the Web, Pain attempts to capitalize on people's sick fascination with seeing pain. The more pain you achieve -- the more combos you do -- the better your score. For example, you can slingshot your guy into a busy city block, have him hit a billboard, bounce off a lamppost, and then get run over by a truck. If that's your idea of fun, this game's for you.
What's new for E3: Not all that much, to be honest. The version on display at Sony's E3 booth wasn't all that different from the one we saw last month at its editor's day (so for lots more impressions check out my previous write-up on the game). There were a few new characters to choose from, though, including one who was dressed in a goofy giraffe suit.

What we like: The game offers a big playground for you to fling your character around, and there are seemingly endless combinations you can achieve by targeting different parts of the environment.
What we dislike: The rag-doll physics are just plain goofy at times. You'll bounce around the environments with your limbs all flailing around -- it just looks silly.
