Heavy Rain PS3 European and North American Box Art is Unveiled

Update: Amazon has apparently posted the official North American box art for Heavy Rain PS3 on their Web site alongside the Japanese box art as pictured HERE.

Last week it was announced that Quantic Dream's adventure game Heavy Rain will be hitting Sony PS3 systems in Japan on February 18, 2010.

Today, pictures of what appears to be the final North American and European box art for the title are available below, courtesy of PlayStationUniversity.com (linked above) and the Examiner.

Sony has not yet confirmed this, however, all major video game retailers (GameStop, Amazon, etc) have them now showing so chances are good it's indeed the final design boxart.

To quote: "Though it has a large 'Coming Soon' banner across the top of the image, all major retailers updated their listing this week with this boxart, so it's likely to be the official boxart for Heavy Rain.

With emphasis on the origami figure in the middle, the boxart is unique and gives off a certain feel of mystery and the murderous setting the game features."

I think the first cover is much better, I don't like this newspaper background.

If you are European then you are in luck then, as that is the EU one and the bottom two pics are supposedly the US ones.

The first cover is much better, not sure about the typeface though, something less bold would have been better.
