Dino Crisis, Resident Evil 2 & Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Hitting PSN

Update: Although not definitive, The-NextLevel.com reports that Capcom’s Chris Kramer stated the games will be out “within the next three months.”

A few months ago it was first reported that Capcom classics were making their way to Sony's PlayStation Network.

Today the green flag was given to three more, specifically, the ESRB has now rated Dino Crisis, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for the PS3.

However, no release dates have been given at this time.

To quote: "The ESRB site doesn't have the search fields in the URL so we can't give you links to the ratings for the games, but search for them and you'll see the newly added 'PlayStation 3' platform under each one.

No dates yet, of course, but presumably we'll see these on our Store sooner rather than later."

Haven't the ESRB ok'd a bunch of games that haven't been released? Like FFT?

I am guessing they are holding a lot and planning on releasing them as a bunch when 3.0 releases? Slim is announced? new PSN service starts?

    Cool

These were the titles first announced that are coming, but apparently not all were given the go-ahead by the ESRB at that time:

    • Capcom Classics Collection Remixed (UMD Legacy)
    • Mega Man Powered Up (UMD Legacy)
    • Dino Crisis (PlayStation Legacy)
    • Power Stone Collection (UMD Legacy)
    • Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (UMD Legacy)
    • Resident Evil 2 (PlayStation Legacy)
    • Darkstalkers (UMD Legacy)
    • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (UMD Legacy)
    • Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PlayStation Legacy)
    • Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded (UMD Legacy)

So is the "UMD legacy" their answer to the new digital download issue. Like their way of somehow giving people the game who have it on UMD, but will own the new PSP? Sorry if this is dumb, I am not up on the PSP scene.

I was not sure because it makes too much sense.

Also, I enjoy PSN games, the PS1 games are a bit much for me. I have like 80gb of PS1 games sitting on my hdd not being played for free. I bought FF7 just to show the idiots at SCEA that US gamers want more than Socom or Ford Racing.

Why wont Square remake the game i'm wondering... It's such a good game (CD1, not the CD2)

I think, we have to rely on their mercy i guess...
