Nintendo Wii Gets Homebrew USB 2.0 Support!
Kwiirk has done what no one before has, he added USB 2.0 support to the Nintendo Wii that will be installed via cIOS.
So the CFW for the Wii is growing up, and with USB 2.0 we can expect more nice things expect to come.
This program is a modification of custom ios module by neimod, implementing a usb2 (ehci) driver instead of the oh0 module.
- added libcios, to avoid (source) code duplication between modules and iostester
- corrected some bugs in the original code (stack address pointed to the begginning of actual memory allocation, but needed to be at the end.)
- added tinyehci, a minimal generic ehci driver based on linux ehci-hcd driver.
- added oh0module, which implements the oh0 ios messages with tinyehci, and new usbstorage messages for even better speed.
- added patchmii installer

Nice work. Wondering if there is going to be a ISO Loader for WII or not, cause my chipped WII is getting unstable these days. Even with original WII Sports disc, it gives me that "Unable to read disc..." error sometimes.

It is becouse the drives of the wii are not so good quality. There are many user out who have troubles with wii drives. And im sure that a iso loader will be possible but the biggest prob was the ohO Modul becouse whith that modul a external usb hdd would not be possible. So some one have to find a way to implement a better working and compatieble code. It is still in beta state and more testing need to be done.
But im sure in time of next months a iso loader channel will pop up. Today we have hb apps they could use channels as well, like the Hombrew Browser Channel does it. With this source and a better stable cIOS_usb2 (after testing 100 of usbstorage units) some one could make a mod and change it to a "iso loader browser channel" where every game installed / stored on a externall hdd will be have his owen channel.

Jop but most people dont like flatmii becouse they have to select the iso from pc via remote tool.
But know a new software version is out and it also contains a hbc loader.dol and a ISO-Loader.wad.They calle it ISO-Selector but i will say ISO Loader
Yea i know the chip load´s the iso but on ps2 also the chip loads / patch the iso and it will be also called Loader and not Selector
I will include the ISO-Loader.wad into my new Hack Pack.So ppl who want to use a flatmii later, just to have to install the chip.

Do you have the Wii connected to the WEB?Its an online installation!First the files would be downloaded from the nintendo servers than patched and installed.
Without a working net connection it cant work
