May 3, 2007 - Data Design Interactive has announed that it's bringing Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars - launching on PC in June - to Wii later this year, with a range of spell-casting Wiimote functions.
Although Wii-specifics haven't been announced, Stewart Green MD of Data Design Interactive, promised the console experience will be "greatly improved with extensive use of the Wii controllers, to immerse the player into the magic casting and weapon wielding adventure".
Call for Heroes is a third-person action game with RPG elements. It takes place in a fantasty medieval world where demonic hordes, led by the evil Pompolic, have invaded with nefarious intentions. You play one of two different characters who can save the world from destruction.
Each character has unique weapons, items and special abilities. As you gain experience you can upgrade strength, armour and health. Finally, there are 15 levels to quest through and 18 different types of monsters to slay. Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars is scheduled to ship in Q4 this year.
