Video: Leaked Sonic 4 Alpha Splash Hill Zone Gameplay Available
I was watching hard news today when I heard that a video of Sonic 4 Alpha Splash Hill Zone Gameplay was leaked via an anonymous source.
So for those Sega Sonic 4 fans out there, here's some awesome game play footage courtesy of 1UP, Enjoy!
To quote: "For those of you left dazed and confused by the 2 seconds of gameplay included in the game's debut trailer, this might clear things up a bit.
The video displays four of the zones to be included into episode 1 by the names of Splash Hill Zone, Lost Labyrinth Zone, Casino Street Zone and Mad Gear Zone.
There's also a row of slots that can hold chaos emeralds at the bottom of the stage select screen which could be used for a special stage."

i think this should be posted under the xbox 360 section. if you pause the video at 0:25 you will see icons for the green "a" button and the red "b" button at the bottom of the pop up menu.
i'd like to play this game on my ps3 if it doesn't lag/stutter like almost every other multi-platform game ever released for the ps3.
edit: never mind my first comment. i didn't realize this was the other console section at first. i just saw the video and clicked on it.
I think they finally got the thing. I'm an old Sonic player (Sega Genesis), and I think since then, all the new sonics have sucked. 3D isn't for Sonic. They took the great old concept and gameplay, and did a nice HD sequel.
Like New Super Mario Bros, I'm sure this will be an awesome game!
It's the same game but 3dish.
It's about time - I mean, Sega should have done this back in 2002, and skipped the series of terrible Sonic games that came out in the timeframe.
Sure, its just reboot of what worked - but it worked, and it was fun. Little plot, run to the end and get rings/emeralds - easy to follow!
Why does sonic run like the mummy?
It looks pretty good going back to the original style or gameplay. To be honest the only 3-D Sonic game that I really loved was the 1st Sonic Adventure on the Japanese Dreamcast. All the other 3-D format Sonic games just didn't any longer have that same feel.
I agree, Sonic has never been the same since it went 3D and this is one of the main reasons i use emulators to get me that real sonic experience back from the old days.
All Sonic 3D games sucked big time, seeing that video insta-triggered the nostalgia part of my brain.. the music, the scenario... Sonic 1 was an epic game, and i hope this one can keep up with that.
