Square Enix made a heck of a fuss at last year's E3. Its announcement at Microsoft's pre-show press conference that the highly anticipated then PS3 exclusive Final Fantasy XIII would also be coming to the Xbox 360 was the talk of the town.
Will the legendary developer be able to make as big an impact at the 2009 show? It would seem so.
To quote: We've received word on what Square Enix will be showing at the E3 event, and fans of two of their biggest series will be extremely happy with the media set to get far better access to some key products than we had initially hoped.
As much as we would like to tell you the specifics it has been requested that the names of the games be kept under wraps until the company has a chance to officially announce them. However, for the sake of excitement we thought we would give you the heads up so you can discuss it amongst yourselves.
We don't want to push our luck on this one, but there is no Square Enix press conference this year so you can expect an announcement prior to the E3 show regarding no less than three big surprise games which are currently unannounced - at least two of which are multi-format.
We wish we could tell you more, but knowing something is better than knowing nothing... debate below, but don't ask us because we're not about to spill the beans.
