I feel like this could have been done way better than just slapping a PS2 on as a TV stand.. the footprint of the actual hardware could definitely be reduced to almost nothing.. perhaps they'll release a larger TV with a nicer implementation?

astounding idea, too bad it's a ps2 instead of a ps3, i mean, how do they even think of selling it when they left it without any new game flow about 6 months ago ?

it will be nice to those who never owned one and will get underpriced games, but i don't think there's many people who will.

and curse them for not putting ps2 compatibility on ps3, i totally was looking forward to play cy girls, i haven't been able to since my ps2 laser died 2 times

Total rubbish, PS3's should be the only option.

Once again like so many times I have to ask why PS2? The Playstation 2 has had its run for 10 years and the PS3 has been created. I've enjoyed many titles on the PS2 back then and it was cool but lets MOVE ON shall we?

Imagine if Sony started out with ALL PS3's having backwards compatiblity and focused more on the PS3 & PSP? In my opinion this PS2 thing has been dragged along too far by Sony. They need to let it go.

if either TV or PS2 gets damaged you're screwed, as oppose to having devices separately.

Well that's kind of retarded. I thought it was actually built into the TV set, but it's clearly just a PS2 stuff to the bottom of the TV.

ps2 outdated but still pretty cool and ideal for the kids bedroom, shame I've just paid the same ammount for a normal tv/dvd for the young boy for xmas.

Great news, too bad it's not full HD, 22" would be nice for a computer monitor with PS2 support and media player.
