December 28, 2010 // 8:51 pm - Cyberskunk has been working around the clock and has made major progress- today we bring to you pictures and confirmation that the Quick Signup PS3 Debug option is actually working on a Retail PlayStation 3 console with Rebug!

There are plenty of other PS3 debug features working, but I won't get into that right now

I have blurred out the username from the quick signup to protect the account because $ony will know the password.

Here are a few teaser pics of some good things to come

I'm sure this will piss off a few devs seeing that they would not like to see retail consoles converted to debugs, but that's the nature of the game

If you want to jailbreak the Rebug FW you must use the Rebug payload.

Rebug Payload for PIC18FXXXX. Tested by me on a PIC18F2455 (Xbox 360 USB SPI Nand Reader).

I don't think this is necessary. You could always enter the PS3's recovery menu and reinstall the 3.41 update.

Anyway, the problem seems clear to me that you're not programming the AT90USB KEY correctly or it is malfunctioning.

Another idea... Could it be stuck in DFU mode?

that's what i'm thinking too but apparently he's tried many payloads and has reinstalled retail 3.41 more than once.

Then hes not back on 3.41 Retail, and even if he is he must be using the rebug payoad on a retail 3.41

If you have installed Rebug then you MUST use the Rebug payload to jailbreak.
If you want to go back to a stock 3.41 Retail Firmware just boot up without any jailbreak and install the firmware from XMB.

Read the tut... it cleary says *Use Rebug Payload*
